I know it has attracted a lot of criticism because of that but it's quality will outlast the controversy. Fantastic acting, beautiful sets, a dialogue that crackles with tension and sensational music (it doesn't get any better than 'Rock and Roll Soniye')will make this movie a classic. The dinner table confrontation between SRK and Amitabh Bachchan was worth the entrance fee alone. My asian girlfriend loved the first part but hated the ending - you'll have to make your own mind up about it - but don't let others make it up before you've even seen it! I stayed up diligently until four am to watch this on tv and then decided I liked it so much that I bought it the next day! There is so much energy and passion linked to this story, the plot being two people who fall in love with each other even though they are both married already and the pain and happiness they go through. Add beautiful costumes, great music and some comic moments and you have a brilliant and heart-breaking film which everyone should experience. best bollywood film ever with a modern script that boldly goes where no classic bollywood film has ever gone before!!!
