Brilliant February 27, 2007 R. J. Leek (Lancashire, UK) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
After seein NIN live on Sunday in Manchester, I figured it'd be difficult to watch the DVD and enjoy it as much as i could've.
br /
br /It came in no time, I put it on as soon as i got it and enjoyed it very much. Alot better than And All That Could Have Been (and i loved that), of course nothing is better than the gig itself but it gives a pretty raw, true and good quality (ha) view of what a NIN show is like.

br /Deffinately worth getting if a fan.
Beside You In Time February 27, 2007 Mr. Thomas Hanson (Buckingham, UK) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
5 stars does not do this DVD justice. From the opening song "Love Is Not Enough" to the epic finale "Head Like a Hole", Nine Inch Nails show in this DVD exactly what they are capable of. Songs like "Eraser", "The Big Come Down" and "With Teeth" are really nice surprises to the setlist, and regular concert favourites such as "Closer", "Hurt" and "The Hand That Feeds" make this DVD something that will appeal to new NIN fans and old ones too.
br /
br /The mid-concert trio of songs ("Eraser", "Right Where It Belongs" and "Beside You In Time") bring a real sense of calm, just like "La Mer, The Great Below" and "The Mark Has Been Made" did in the first live DVD "And All That Could Have Been". This acts as a healthy contrast to the sheer energy given off for the rest of the concert.

Visually stunning and awesome. March 15, 2007 Mr. J. N. D. Lewis (Portsmouth, England) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Nine Inch Nails were one of my top 5 bands a few months ago, but now after purchasing this DVD they are now considered my favourite band to date. I love the way that a lot of the songs on the DVD actually sounds better than the actual album released tracks. The energy on the stage is immense and Trent gives each song every ounce of effort in his body, coupled with the visual effects it proves to be a must have purchase for any NIN fan.
br /I love the new version of 'Closer' with its added guitar bars and mordernised transformation. 'Right Where It Belongs' is performed with such emotion, the video clips played on stage create a raw atmosphere and give the song a strong meaning which has changed the way I percieve it completely compared to when listening to the track on a CD. I also believe that the byit 'Terrible Lie' version has much more of a buzz and is a nice improvement on the original. Some more of my favourite moments include; the building up of hurt to when the guitar hits in and everything synchronises perfectly, the tension building pauses in 'March of the Pigs' and I was pleasently surprised to see 'The Big Come Down' appear as one of the tracks on the DVD.
br /Overall, I find this DVD so perfect, i've listened to it over 20 times in a week or something crazy. The new versions of the songs tick every box for me and the performance is so powerful. The only thing that would make this DVD perfect was if they played my favourite track, 'We're in this Together' which has only ever been played live once, which is a shame.

br /If you are a NIN fan, you need to buy this. Don't be deterred by the idea that it's just another compilation of old songs, because you won't believe how good they are live until you watch this!
Awesome March 26, 2007 Mike (England) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Visually stunning, the angles explored from a filming point of view are great. At one point you're watching the screen of a phone of someone who's recording the show, great. Notice how you never see A perspective from behind the band, this dvd is designed so you feel like you are their. The live in rehearsals videos are great, really intense and honest to the songs. This dvd is better than ATCHB from 2002.
br /Buy it, now.
A Solid Performance March 30, 2007 L. Otto (Surrey, England) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
As a followup to the previous live dvd, 'And All That Could Have Been', 'Beside You In Time' was always going to be as good, or better than before. The only things that could have held this DVD back from its predecessor is Trent's live performance, which we all know is astounding. Reznor is a brilliant vocalist, almost every live track could have been the recorded version, and his backing band is equal to that. Aaron's insane guitar techniques keep the stage moving faster than greyhounds at a race track, not to mention the incredible drumming by Freese.
br /
br /There are great tracks on this DVD, primarily taken from the With Teeth album, with oddities from The Fragile, The Downward Spiral, and Pretty Hate Machine all contributing to the overall effect. Which is, I might add, very good.
br /
br /The extras are worth the purchase in themselves, to see tracks like Love is Not Enough, and recent single Everyday is Exactly the Same played live, and the recent music videos up for your viewing pleasure.
br /
br /And to wrap up, the dvd packaging is very nice. And also available in Blu-Ray and HD-DVD formats for the luckier among us. Making this package a worthwhile investment for hardcore-fans and avid rock listeners alike.
