James Redfield the author produced this himself in order to retain his creative control over how this was made and it shows. If you have ever read any of the Celestine Prophecy books you will really enjoy this movie and it follows the story line of his first book completely. I was truly moved and inspired by the message, and I will give this DVD out as gifts for all my friends. There will always be people who will not understand this kind of Spiritual film and give it a bad review but that's ok, as more and more people are looking for inspiring films to see and own and I believe that this one is definitely one worth adding to your library. Totally and completely exceeded my expectations! To those who have written negative reviews, i think you have missed the point of the whole concept completely. With a bit more self development, maybe you will gain the understanding to really appreciate what the message is. br / br /Its not suppose to be Terminator 2 action movie, its suppose to be another way of viewing things, and trying to make things better. Haven't you ever spoke to someone really negative and then felt completly drained afterwards? br / br /If you're thinking of getting The Celestine Prophecy, please go for it and dont let others steal your chance of changing your outlook on life forever.
