With the, beautiful Edward Burns and very talented cast, (including Jon Bon Jovi), this film cannot fail to please all romantics. br /Burns wrote, directed and acts in this easy going movie and he does it very well. br /Ok it's set in a small town and an ex-lover, (Edward Burns), of Claudia, (Lauren Holly), returns to pick up where he left off three years ago - just one problem there's a new man, (Jon Bon Jovi), in Claudia's life who wants to marry her. br /It's a dvd for the quiet nights when you're sitting comfortably on a cosy sofa just before bedtime. Topley 3 out of 4 found this review helpful I primarily bought this dvd because i am a Bon Jovi fan, but also i am a fan of multi talented Edward Burns, who directs, writes, produces and stars in this film. br /This film is a simple look at the life of the 3 central character's in a small town, and essentially is a love triangle. Theres Jon Bon Jovi's hard working character, Lauren Holly who is the object of both lead males characters affection and Edward Burns who plays her ex, that drifts back into town after being away for a long time. She basically has feelings for both and has to choose between the two. br /If you are after a film with guns, murders,sex and drugs then this isnt the film for you, however, if you after a simple, well acted and well directed film then you should check this out. Maybe a bit boring? No. The acting is OK and the plot is OK. There is really nothing special to get excited about in this movie. It is well made but it is just so boring. So; if you are not a big Lauren Holly, Edward Burns or Jon Bon Jovi fan then I would really rather recommend something ells.
