| Customer Reviews: Excellent film October 22, 2007 littleskippy (Leeds) 14 out of 18 found this review helpful
Just watched this DVD and was glued to it from beginning to end. I watched it primarily because my favourite actors Susan Sarandon and Georgie Parker were in it. Lots of tension. All the actors were great and a brilliant storyline. I would recommend it to all.
fantastic effort November 10, 2008 Ms. F. I. Macdonald (uk) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was saving this for ages and trying to watch dvds i didn't care so much about but I eventually gave in tonight and watched it. It was a brilliant storyline, a great twist and amazingly acted by Sarandon and Blunt. Blunt I think is one of the best upcoming actors and she's British!!So that's doubly good to me! She's beautiful but has the ability to look totally evil at the same time, like a femme fatale! A good film, recommended.
What Lies In The Past August 6, 2009 Adriano (Berkshire, England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As a previous reviewer suggests, if you enjoyed 'What Lies Beneath' the chances are you will also like this. For in a similar way the suspense relies a lot on the viewer giving full attention.
br /A scene will end and move on to the next leaving you to try work out the clues. Are the answers within the strained marriage, or elsewhere?

br /The acting is very well executed as you'd expect from the three leads.
br /Enough, that even if you guess what's behind the mystery (I certainly didn't) it still remains gripping to the very end.

br /Recommended also as this is so much more of a higher quality movie than what Hollywood usually churns out to us.
Rather stilted and uninvolving, but entertaining enough June 21, 2009 Four Violets (Hertford UK) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I found this rather a strange film, because although it has a rather pedestrian plot, a mix of "Fatal Attraction" "What Lies Beneath," and "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle," the cast and acting are stellar. Susan Sarandon is one of my favourite actresses and Emily Blunt is convincingly menacing. Susan Sarandon and Sam Neill are a couple whose marriage is under strain. When Emily Blunt appears as Sam's employee, from then on there are strange happenings and it's pretty creepy. I guessed one of the twists, but beware, there is another, final one. A perfectly adequate film but not really outstanding or different.
