I am probably the biggest Mandy Moore fan in the world, and having this film in my life, has made me a whole new person! If I was the casting director, I honestly couldn't have picked a better selection of actors and actresses! They all work really well together, and this is by far, one of the best films of the year! This is an extension of Mandy's fantastic acting, and proves she can sing and act. Now, not many people can do that, can they? br /This has a great storyline, with a slight twist in the plot, which adds to the family/romcom/teen movie genre. I recommend this to anyone who loves 'Never Been Kissed', 'The Break Up', or any other laugh out loud romantic movie that exists! br /I am not someone who buys a film when it comes out instantly, but I really had to buy this, and am glad I paid £14 for it now, because I know I will enjoy this for years to come. I can't wait for my friends to come over and watch it with me, because I know they will love it. br /I bought this, not expecting much, but knowing how much I love Mandy, gave it a chance. She was the main reason why I bought this movie and I'm glad that I did. br / br /I loved Millie's love interest, Johnny. He was hot and slightly different from the normal chick flick hero. I don't want to say how he was different because it might spoil the film a little. br / br /I also enjoyed the interaction between the female characters. The film was very funny, with Diane playing a typical slightly overbearing mother trying to control her daughters love life. A film about a daughters struggle to find a perfect man, and a mother trying to set her up with a man who SHE thinks is the most suitable.
