Customer Reviews:
5 out of 5 stars Typical British Rom Com   June 25, 2009

The classic tale of the best friend in love with his best friends wife, shots of Bristol and Cardiff are really well done and give you a good feel for the city. I agree with previous review re the sound is not dubbed really well, but its a typical British rom/com which is to say alot more realalistic than the hollywood rom com's. The film is definately worth watching.

2 out of 5 stars At least JLH looks nice in it   August 30, 2009

Only giving this 2 stars for the sight of JLH in that red ligerie. Plot was contrived and a bit non sensical, and the pay off bit like a badly written Hugh Grant vehicle....not so much RomCom as RomNonsense

1 out of 5 stars Terrible   October 24, 2007

I wanted to see this film as it was filmed in Bristol. I wish I hadn't as it is probably one of the worst films I have ever seen. The acting is terrible, Jennifer Love-Hewitt is miscast in the lead role and the overdubbed sound is out of sync with the actors on screen. Together with a shoddy script and storyline this is sadly a wasted opportunity, especially with such a talented cast. br / br /I have rated it 1 star on the fact that the setting of Bristol was the one thing that did not let the film down.
