A good story, with fine acting (especially Julia Stiles and Jeremy Renner). br / br /The scenery didn't seem American somehow. Sure you have prairies, but the light wasn't quite right. I now know it was filmed in Iceland. br / br /This begs the question as to why this isn't an Icelandic story (I think I would have preferred it if it was). I suppose the idea of hijacking an anonymous drifter (oops!) wouldn't be so convincing in a small Icelandic community. br / br /Brooding, dark and a bit depressing, this is nevertheless a stylish, intelligent film. br / br /I recommend it. br / br /
