Customer Reviews: Good low budget horror December 2, 2008 Lewis France 2 out of 2 found this review helpful I've just seen this on zone horror and it was surprisingly good for a low budget film. br /The main jist of the story is that the army are doing experiments on soldiers to make them more agressive and stronger this experiment is run by the general michael madsen who good in the film because he's let to play the character as he wants, and probable because against the other actors who are fresh talent he seems to know what he's doing. At the start were introduced to four young kids who are joining the army, or they think they are, however there sent to Madsens facility. br /These kids are a tipicle set of movie cliches theres the run away shy girl, the feisty homeless girl who cleans up well, the weak nerdy kid and theres the cool rebel kid. This is good because there's bound to be someone you like and want to escape. br /The kids are experimented on and relies that they have to escape before there turned into something strange or killed in the process. Also in the film an ex-soldier who's the guiney pig to the first experiment escapes from his cell in the same building, yes this all takes place in one building which didnt bother me, and goes on a killing spree trying to kill all the people who turned him into this hulking killing machine that he has become. br /The films has its fair share of blood and guts and the kids make you want to watch to see who survives. br /The acting in the films good to passable and never seams bad and the directings good, non of this flashy close ups where you cant see whats happening god i hate that stuff. br / br /So in conclusion if you want to watch a good late night horror movie check this out however if you are looking for oscar matieral look elsewhere. br /
