If there are ten DVD's of one movie at your local rental store and only one of this on display then there's probably a reason for that. And it's not that patrons took out the other nine. br / br /Whatever tone the producers were striving for, it is not on the screen. The zany levity works against any suspense and the film just seems to sit there, puzzling over its reason for being. The lead actor is incredibly goodlooking (think GQ) but his character is just not terribly relatable. I only picked it as a lazy rental because it said "Laurence Fishburne" on the cover and he's the best thing in it.
