This movie is a timeless classic and when it was released on Blu Ray, I bought it to re-live the memories of my childhood. I think this movie has stood the test of time and all I could think was - what a shame that Jennifer Gray went and had her nose fixed after this movie. Best dancing ever October 19, 2009 Goncalo M. Oliveira (Lisbon, Portugal) A classic movie from an actor who left befor his time. A must have for people that cannot live without dancing. br /In blu-Ray the image is not bad, better as we seen on cinema when the movie stars. The only thing was that there were few subtitles, as there was not in Portuguese... but it was worth it. Very nice movie, best blue-ray quality for a movie with this time! Dirty Dancing with Clean Picture October 20, 2009 McColey (Buckinghamshire) This is a timeless classic that everyone should have in their collection. Despite the comments from others, I can see a huge difference in the picture quality. I bought this as a replacement for my VHS copy since I don't own a VHS player any longer. Rather than buy a standard DVD I thought it would be better to keep up with technology because I love the interactive menus available on Blu-ray. The price of Blu-rays has started to come down a lot and there are so many offers available at Amazon (and elsewhere) at the moment. br / br /The sound quality on this Blu-ray is fantastic, so for those who love to sing along, I totally recommend this.
