November 15, 2007 Mr Happy (HERE!) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful 3 of Charles Bronson's "European" movies. br /All three made in the UK/Europe, all three quite good and back in their orginal running times. br / br /LOLA:Quite a pleasent film about a Pornograhic pulp writer and his affair with a 16 year old Susan George.Plenty of nice bit parts from English actors, quite funny, kinda sickly sweet though. br /COLDSWEAT:Former crook trys to hide from his past until his wife is kidnapped.Good action and edge of the seat stuff but a bit predictable. br /SOMEONE BEHIND THE DOOR:Antony Perkins lures a rapist with Amnesia into his home to kill his unfaithful wife Jill Ireland.This has had the full rape scene put back but its not as nasty or as sick as Mary Whithouse made out. br / br /So why the 4 points, well two of the films are full screen meaning it cuts out people and squeezes scenes together.Bad transfer to DVD, lines appear on the screen as well being out of focus in places, plus a big out of lip sync in important bits which is annoying. br /They could of done better but not bad for the price.Worth seeing if your a Bronson fan, just ignore the bad bits and you should enjoy them. The photo on the cover is from the Deathwish movies but what you get is (in my opinion) Bronson movies that you probably have never heard of, Mine are still wrapped up. This is not the sellers fault its mine for not reading the info properly.The boxset itself was delivered well within the time period stated. charles bronson box set June 23, 2008 J. M. Moore (uk) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful there are three films in this box set. the first is someone behind the door a good story but the film quality is appauling. blotches on the film and lines and even writing spoil this film completely. even the actors speech seems as if it is dubbed. although it is the actors in there original speech. the second film is cold sweat quite a good film and is much better then the first at least there does not seem to be a film made of poor quality. the thrid is Lola I don't really care for bronson comedies and found this quite taste-less. if, you are a fan of Charles Bronson then this is for you. as on the content of this box set I am soory to give it a thumbs down and avoid
