Piers glorious piers November 6, 2008 Piers (London, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is probably one of the best dvds I've ever watched. It arrived quickly, as was nearly as thick as my fat thumb. It was a real pleasure being spoken to about sport by someone with the wisdom of a quince. Truly every moment left me absolutely speechless.
A brilliant way to bask in the glory of England's sporting misery! November 14, 2007 musiclover 3 out of 7 found this review helpful
The best birthday present I've ever had! Only someone as typically British as Piers Morgan could get away with launching a tirade of abuse against England's biggest sports stars, managers and coaches!

br /does anyone like Steve McClaren...? Piers definitely doesn't, and he doesn't hold back when voicing his opinion!!! This DVD gives an amusing overview of England's sporting history and really does make you realise how rubbish we are!!! Oh well... you've got to laugh haven't you!

br /If you're even remotely interested in sport you'll love this DVD, and even if you're not you can laugh at the failures of the highest paid sportsmen in the country!

At last, a perfect present for 'Him Indoors'! November 13, 2007 Claire Turner (London, UK) 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
My husband is a massive Piers Morgan Fan, and being born a man means that he is obviously a big sports buff as well! So what luck to come across this DVD for him!

br /I worried that all I was actually doing by buying this gift was punishing myself as I would be forced to watch another sports DVD! But I was completely wrong and I found it not only funny, but also really interesting and enjoyable!

br /Piers looks at England's most memorable sporting moments over the last 40 odd years, from the World cups European Championships to The Ashes, and asks why is it England just can't seem to win - looking into all aspects surrounding sport from the players themselves to press influence. His debates are fascinating and witty, and there are really interesting comments from the likes of David Beckham and the FIFA team.

br /I highly recommend this not only as gift for him, but also for you if you have even the slightest interest in sport! (Which it turns out I do!)

Funny and good value November 14, 2007 Faye Harris 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this for my Boyfriend and he loved it! I was pleasantly surprised myself actually as I actually found it quite funny. I love Piers Morgan, his arrogance and general "say it first, think later" attitude always makes me laugh.

br /A good buy, I'd recommend it to a friend.
Outrageous and brilliant November 14, 2007 Andrew Lloyd (London, UK) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is Piers Morgan at his best, insulting, cutting and unintentionally funny.
