Amazon.co.uk Review
Sitting somewhere between the television series and the two movies, IJackass 2.5/I delivers pretty much what you'd expect: it's Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Bam Margera and company risking bodies and dignity, all in the quest to raise a laugh. P IJackass 2.5/I runs to just over an hour, and it's made up of the footage that didn't make the second film. That's not to say this is B-grade material, as there's plenty packed in here that the IJackass/I fan simply won't want to miss. There are cows, bikes, rockets, snakes and a whole lot more standing between the team and their laughs. P If it's hardly a radical formula after all this time, then there's good reason. Put simply, IJackass 2.5/I delivers, and raises hair-raising guffaws with real regularity. Whether it's a re-enactment of IKing Kong/I, frequent explorations of wind or a unique take on a bullfight, there's a lot to enjoy. P IJackass 2.5/I won't win over any converts to the franchise, and it's shorter than you'd ideally like it to be, but it's still a very fun way to spend an hour. It's also, it should be said, not for the squeamish. But you probably knew that already#133; --IJon Foster/I

Jackass 2.5 may well have the cynics crying that this is a cash in and in some ways they int far from the truth, but in truth the jackass fans of this world and i am one will always rejoice when they see a new product from the lads, but is this actually very good, well yes and no,and that point is all that really matters. br /This is a 64 minute feature with footage that didnt make the second movie and of course it must be asked why we need to see the stuff that they themselves didnt rate it but what we get here is an assortment of pranks and stunts and clips all verging from great to kinda lame and we get interviews with cast members building up the prank at hand, there is some very good stuff here including a sketch with preston dressed as king kong fighting off toy planes while wee man is dressed as a damsel in distress. br /These offcuts are dirtier than the stuff they released in the film so that may dishearten some but this is still worth a watch, not overly essential but jackass fans wont care about that one bit.

The first scene has Johnny Knoxville flipping the bird to the camera...and after watching the movie I now know why. It's a documentary about the scenes that didn't make it into Jackass 2. So, needless to say, the stunts are all boring, unfunny and the guys even admit this on screen as you watch. It begs the question...if they thought it was rubbish...why release it? Seriously...they spend a great chunk of the film talking about the terrorist skit at the end of jackass 2...so even though the documentary is only an hour or so long, they spend a lot of it rehashing old stuff. br / br /I cannot discourage you to stay away from this product enough. The only real selling point is that it's dirt cheap. Personally I took this straight back to where i got it from and bought something else. (In Silico by Pendulum...much better use of my wages)

1 out of 5 stars All the stuff they couldn't show in cinemas (for a very good reason)   April 6, 2008

Now don't get me wrong, I love Jackass, but this is scraping the bottom of the barrel... br / br /Consider: This is not just all the stuff they couldn't show in cinemas. This is all the stuff they couldn't show in cinemas, or put in the "Additional Stunts" section of the DVD, or even put on the "Deleted Scenes" section of the DVD of Jackass 2. br / br /Not only is the content of the movie poor, there is very little of it. The 64 minute running time of the main feature is short. The fact that much of this running time is taken up with interviews with the cast explaining why the skit that follows was too poor to make the movie makes this even worse. br / br /I remember that I only laughed at two sections of the film, but you know, I can't even bring myself to fast forward through it again to point out which bits they were. br / br /There are endless reruns of Jackass on MTV, It doesn't matter how many times you have seen them before you would do far better watching them again than watching this. Hell, you'd do better watching Viva La Bam or (and I never thought I'd ever say this) even Dirty Sanchez than watching this. br / br /The stunts in this movie were performed by professionals. Neither you nor your dumb little buddies should waste your precious money or time on it. I wish I hadn't.
