| Customer Reviews: Flash Gordon DVD June 4, 2009 Mr. Gilbert D. M. Mccomb (Glasgow, Scotland.) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Excellant music, cheesy lines and lots of cheap special effects makes this an excellant film. This is a really good film and seeing it after so many years was a great piece of nostalgia. Also for all those who like a bit of eye candy. the costumes are very pleasing.
Gordon's alive! September 4, 2009 Peter Crowe Absolutely awesome film! Watch out for the legend that is Brian Blessed as Prince Vultan.

I bought this item for my 6 year old son as I remember enjoying it from my childhood. He loves it! The acting is cheesy but the one liners are funny which makes it enjoyable for young and old. A good all round family movie especially those who loves the superhero type.
arrived quickly and great price! July 6, 2009 Ms. Emma J. Stone 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The DVD arrived very quickly and the price was great. I've not tried it yet since it is a present but it will replace a very old video and bring back some 1980s nostalgia!
Campy and spacey... July 20, 2009 L. Suvi (Finland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I like the comics, so naturally when this movie was made, I wanted to see it. Oh, it's cheesy, campy, just out there... Acting sucks, the musical score just screams (even though it's by Queen!), story is ridiculous, special effects sooooo out of date... One could continue listing everything that sucks here, but still, I kinda like this one. Saw it when I was young, liked it then, now... Well, it has it's moments. It's not completely awful, it has some (unintentional) light moments and humor, and some real efforts. It's cheap, so just for laughs watch it - and judge for yourself.
