January 27, 2009 RMO2008 14 out of 16 found this review helpful After watchting Helen Mirren in her role as Queen Elizabeth II in The Queen , i was so astounded by her talent , i instantly found out more about her and her previous projects and that is when i found Prime Suspect. br / br /Her role in this drama is of a no-nonsense female Detective Chief Inspector (DCI) Jane Tennison who try to surviving and thriving in a male-dominated profession and deal with the , not so straight forword , cases before her. In each episode , she must deal with the cases that lay before her and also at the same time deal with her own demons. Each cases tackls diffrent aspect of the world around us such as Prostitution , Sexism , Pedophilia , Achoholisim and Rasisim.No ground is left untouched in this show. br / br /I highly recommend this to anyone who would like to see how no one is who or what they say they are , How everyone has their secrets and how can all of this be exposed by one woman doing it only through her own instincs , then you will love it.Packed with many stars and Amazing writting , you will be a fool to miss it.
