5 out of 5 stars These films will be coming out on Blu-ray next year!!!   May 27, 2009

I am a huge Star Wars/Si-Fi fan and I really enjoyed the prequel trilogy. I thought Darth Maul was under used and I know not many people did but, I liked Jar Jar Blinks because he was funny. The Pod race was excellent and Yoda was great fun to watch with his mad lightsaber fighting. The great Christopher Lee was in these films and The Lord Of The Rings trilogy what a lucky man. The epic battle with Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan is fantastic too. There are so many brilliant moments in this trilogy and to be fair it would have been impossible for anyone to top the first trilogy. br / br /

5 out of 5 stars Good but not good enough   February 5, 2009

This is a good set if you don't already own the films on DVD or you want to make a bit of space in your collection as all six discs are housed in three slime line DVD cases that are contained in a nice box. br / br /But if you do already own them and you don't need a little extra space don't spend your money as there is noting new here in the way of special features or anything it's just another attempt of Lucas Film and 20th fox to make you part way with your cash for something that you already have. br / br /I cant see us getting anything different until the blu ray release

This box can't be bought in Denmark. A good price for these old classics. A must for everyone

5 out of 5 stars diffferent from the first three(IV-VI)   October 9, 2009

At Christmas they were shown on tv.. we sat down with our 6 year old and saw them, not realising they were from 12 years and above. br / br /he got through it okay, no night mares. and got hooked! br /We then saw the IV-VI while on holiday at Easter, and my 6 year old son went down and spent all his savings on the Wii starwars Lego game. br /it has reduced any scary bit to lego pieces that fall apat, and we now love both the films and the Wii game. br / br /That said... My opinion of the 1-3 is that they are better than the first. Better story, technique, gives a more fuller fantacy.. what is expected these days. The twist of difference between good and evil, how we have both in us is well described. But they are also rightly more scary, so the 12years "warning" is probably right.

5 out of 5 stars Three really great films   October 5, 2008

The Phantom Menace - A good film. Great action scenes. It's really good how it starts off the saga. It can be a bit boring at some points but apart from that a great film. 7/10 br / br /Attack of the Clones - Another great Star Wars film. The only thing that slows this movie down is the relationship between Anakin and Padme, but the fights are really great, like the big battle at the end. 8.5/10 br / br /Revenge of the Sith - The best one on the DVD. Non stop action and intense lightsaber fights. Really good how it builds up to Episode IV. Hayden Christensen and Ewan Mcgregor are a great cast and George Lucas writes and directs a brlliant end to the saga. 10/10
