5 out of 5 stars Their first DVD, and one to be proud of...   November 15, 2008

When the Feeling first arrived in the UK charts in January 2006, few predicted that their delightful sound that harks back to the day of "guilty pleasures" bands like ELO and Supertramp would spawn a career that's already seen two hit albums - 2006's "Twelve Stops and Home", with it's charming hits like "Fill My Little World", "Never Be Lonely" and "Love It When You Call", and this year's chart topping follow up, "Join With Us" and it's equally consistent singles like "I Thought It Was Over" and "Turn It Up". Add to that a few Ivor Novellos and the title of being one of the most played bands on UK radio in the last decade, they've now fully cemented their place in the nation's hearts, something that is captured brilliantly on their first DVD, "Come Home - Live". br / br /And strictly speaking, it also goes some distance to offer real value for money. At the heart of the DVD are two live concerts - one that was filmed at Porchester Hall in London at the end of last year (and was then shown on Channel 4 in February) where they showcase the tracks from "Join With Us" as well as playing a few old favourites. The other is a stunning, 40 minute part live gig, part documentary entitled "The Feeling On Ice" in which, with the help of friend and star of US drama "24", Kiefer Sutherland, they retrace their roots as a 70s and 80s covers band in Maribou, a ski resort town in the French alps where they revisit and play a series of secret gigs in several venues where they were reknowned for playing live pre-record deal and pre-fame. br / br /In addition to that, there's also a great set of extras, including all 9 of their videos from "Sewn" through to "Join With Us", three tracks from their set at V Festival this summer (which includes their wonderful renditions of a-Ha's "Take On Me" and the Buggles' "Video Killed The Radio Star"), an interview/EPK on the making of the "Join With Us" album at Bradley House in Wiltshire (where you may even spot a cameo from good friend and husband of Richard from the band, Sophie Ellis-Bextor), plus a bonus solo acoustic version from frontman Dan of "I Thought It Was Over" recorded at Abbey Road. For a first DVD, this is not only enjoyable watching (especially if you're a fan, like me) but pretty impressive when you consider what it has to offer. A must buy is the phrase you're looking for here.

5 out of 5 stars The Feeling - Come Home   February 4, 2009

5 out of 5 stars A Must for every Feeling Fan!   July 8, 2009
Tardiskey (Southampton, UK)
As a fan of the band, I bought this DVD to better know the band, and watch their music videos on a bigger screen than YouTube, and I was impressed. You get a great documentary on The Feeling, and how they started, and you can follow the band and how they came about. This is essential for every fan of them. The music videos are great, too, and some of the music videos are extremely hard to find. One of my favourite features of this DVD is a cover version of 'Take On Me' at the V Festival, along with 'Video Killed The Radio Star'. If that isn't enough for you, there's also 11 top Feeling tracks taken from a brilliant live performance in London. br / br /A Fantastic DVD for every Feeling Fan

5 out of 5 stars Very Entertaining and enjoyable   November 9, 2009
J. Negus (England)
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this dvd, it is very interesting to see how the band started out and see where it all began for them, and then return recently to do an Outdoor concert ther br / br /It is certainley good value with all their videos, the Join With Us Interview, The V festival appearance and the solo performance of "Thought It Was Over" by Dan at Abbey Road. br / br /My favourite part though was the "Live In London Concert" and I am looking forward to seeing them live if they tour next year. br / br /My Young Son also likes The Feeling and enjoys watching this dvd
