It is the fourth series in the Beverly Hills, 90210 franchise created by Darren Star. The series revolves around the Wilson family, along with numerous other students at West Beverly Hills High, where Annie Wilson (Shenae Grimes) and Dixon Wilson (Tristan Wilds) begin attendance. Their father, Harrison "Harry" Wilson (Rob Estes), returns from Kansas to his childhood home of Beverly Hills with his family to care of his mother, former television star Tabitha Wilson (Jessica Walter), who has a drinking problem. Annie and Dixon struggle to adjust to their new lives while making new friends and adhering to their parents' wishes. br / br /90210 is the first series produced by CBS Productions under the company's re-launch since the first season of Ghost Whisperer. The series premiered in the United States on The CW on September 2, 2008 with a two-hour series premiere event. Before the premiere, Thomas announced that he was leaving the series to focus on other projects. Sachs and Judah were hired as the new executive producers and wrote a new version of the Thomas' script. Midway through the first season, Sachs and Judah stopped writing for the series and were replaced by Rebecca Rand Kirshner. Kirshner signed a deal with the producers to serve as executive producer/showrunner for the second and third seasons. br / br /90210 also features cast members from the original series; featured guests include Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling and Joe E. This DVD is one of my favourite, I'm a big fan of the show and love all episodes, so what better way to get ready for the new series than buying the previous one on DVD.

This new series is unbelieveably juicy and hot. It completely blew out of my expectations. Annie, Silver and Naomi are really original characters and the storylines rock! :-)

ever seen the O.C well if so then this is just like it but better and set in beverley hills, or if you like the original series of 90210 then again this is worth the watch currently showing on E4 every monday so why not check that out before purchasing if your still not sure.

I love 90210...yes the kids are mostly rich but to be honest what the difference with other shows is that they are not spoiled...but thats not got much to do with it. I just think the storylines are really original and I love the characters. I can't even wait for the new season! If you love the show you have to get the box set. The special features aren't bad either!
