Awesome movie! June 18, 2009 Gazza (Glasgow) 1 out of 21 found this review helpful
Great movie. Mark Wahlberg is excellent as the criminal mastermind Charlie Croker but why is it called the Italian Job when it's set in Los Angeles?

The Italian Job 1969 July 25, 2009 Elena Dumpierrez Thompson (Gran Canaria) Excellent. Full of fun and suspense - I want to know what his idea is at the very end!!!
The Italian Job (sixties version) September 6, 2009 Mars (Killiney, Co. Dublin) An excellent film all the family can enjoy. I bought if for my 8-year-old-nephews who had practically worn out their own copy since they started watching it years ago. They are as enthralled by the film today as they were when they saw it the first time around. The music, acting and action are all brilliant.
Self Preservation Society does it again.. September 16, 2009 D. R. Tunnicliffe (U.K.) I saw this film when it first came out - several times! I was so delighted at the release of the 40th anniversary edition I just had to buy it. I was not disappointed. FANTASTIC!! The accompanying CD of extras is great too with lots of information about the original film many will be unaware of adding a new dimension to an already excellent movie. This is a film that is a 'must' in the collection of any serious 'petrol head'...
