Amazon.co.uk Review In retrospect, itrsquo;s amazing that IPrison Break/I got this far. The original concept of the show surely demanded just a single season, but such was the success that it enjoyed, that further runs followed. Itrsquo;s to the credit of the showrsquo;s creators that it managed to make this work, too, right down to the agreeable fourth and final season. P Thus, this final season of IPrison Break/I sees Wentworth Millerrsquo;s Michael Scofield attempting to hunt down The Company, the organisation thatrsquo;s been behind the various events that have befallen him over the course of the showrsquo;s run. As yoursquo;d expect, this quest is laden with some dramatic twists and turns, in keeping with the spirit of the show, and itrsquo;s also got some major surprises up its sleeve. p Determined to bring things to a proper close, this final season of IPrison Break/I does indeed bring things to an appropriate conclusion. Itrsquo;s a fairly bumpy ride in comparison to the more confident earlier seasons, and itrsquo;s clear throughout that this is a show coming to the end of its lifespan. Yet itrsquo;s still very slick, and very enjoyable television drama. Itrsquo;s also willing to take a few chances, which is certainly appreciated. p With 24 episodes in all, this final season of IPrison Break/I is a fine denouement for one of the most exciting TV shows of recent times. It might not be vintage quality by the standards that the programme has set itself, but itrsquo;s still proven to be a far tastier dish than many of the pretenders to its throne. And it will be missed. --IJon Foster/I

Really enjoyed it! September 22, 2009 Granero Gianluca (Italy) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I watched the first 3 seasons a few weeks ago,
br /and really fell in love with this show.
br /
br /In my opinion it is a great job,
br /after 3 exiting seasons it was not easy to invent something that could keep on surprising me.
br /
br /Every character has a well developed personality, and fits well in the whole story.
br /
br /And I appreciate that they finished the story, any other season would have ruined it.

Fantastic, cant stop watching it. Just gets better and better. A big must to buy.
Very good... September 3, 2009 J. Spooner 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Really enjoyable series, wraps things up well. It's not as good as the untouchable first season, and the second season too; but it is far better than the third one. It does get a little draggy in places, but the conclusion easily makes up for it. A worthwhile buy for all Prison Break fans.
The Best Season since Season 1 May 16, 2009 Master Ma Scholes (London) 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
Amazing change of plot, no more breaking out of prison and everything revolves around a small device called 'scylla'. I thought season 2 and 3 were good but no where near as good as the original season 1 break-out, season 4 really exploded PB back to its best and has you gripped every minute. The ending is really good and emotional, although it disappointing that PB is finishing it really ends at its best rather than dragging out.
Sheer unadulterated entertainment or plausibility? May 21, 2009 Rico (Newtownards, Northern Ireland) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
Too much rambling in some of the previous reviews. It boils down to this - if you want to sit down, put your feet up and be royally entertained by a fast-paced action drama for 22 episodes you will love this. If however you get extremely annoyed while analysing an episode in micro-detail for the rest of the week this isn't for you.
br /
br /The series revolves around the acquisition of a half-billion dollar piece of technology. The pace rarely lets up and it is satisfying to see how Michael consistently outsmarts his enemies (well, most of the time). The constant twists and turns are overdone by the end, but you will always be eager to find out how the story concludes.
br /
br /The new characters are hit and miss (I thought company hitman Wyatt was excellent), and some of the existing characters overstayed their welcome, especially Bellick, whose character was shallow outside the confines of Fox River. To be fair the writers handled this well through the series. There are many shocks and surprises but this is what makes the series so appealing.
br /
br /As a fan of this genre I can honestly say that some of the episodes in this season are among the best I have ever seen and it's hard to remember more than one or two weak episodes. A fitting conclusion.
