Magically devious film July 15, 2009 A. Clark 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This film is the best harry potter film yet (thanks to david yates) with a plot and feel to the film that makes you part of the film it self. I've read all the books and this one was the worst but surprisingly the best film out of the harry potter collection. The story line is great with exciting dementor attacks from the begining. The story does seem to drag in the middle of the film but gets a huge boost at the end scene in the ministry with superb deatheater fight scenes and the finale with a legendry battle between dumbeldore and voldemort with expolsive and clever spells throughout the battle. This is a must buy to all harry potter fans as its the best film yet and its also the only film that doesnt seem to miss huge chunks out of the book. Dont listen to the other reviews as they clearly havent even picked up a harry potter book and compared it to the film, they dont know the magic behind harry potter but this film explodes the magic everywhere.
the 2nd best potter film (after the half blood prince!) July 18, 2009 FUTURESTARdelux (united kingdom) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Up until the release of the latest potter film of the franchise (the half blood prince) this was the best film yet.
br /Darker with a great supporting cast including the fantastic Helena Bonham Carter who puts in an amazing performance as Bellatrix Lestrange, Imelda Staunton as Dalloras Umbridge a fantastic kind of eveil totalitarian Queen Elizabeth II and Emma Thompson as the batty proffesor Trelawney :D

Harry Potter 5 review September 1, 2009 Ellie Ramsay The best movie so far, really captures the darker element of the book whilst keeping it light hearted. The characters have developed in a good way.
They can't please everyone November 5, 2009 Little Me (Lorraine) I loved this film. None of the HP films will ever please all die hard fans but this one is worth watching for the fight scene and for Imelda Staunton's fabulous portrayal of Pr Umbrage. They could not have picked a more suitable actress to play the role.
:D November 9, 2009 Jennifer May (Bristol, England) Probably my facourite HP film! So glad that I bought it so I can watch it over and over again!
