2 out of 5 stars Another film with promise that fails to deliver   August 30, 2009

At the heart of this film are the events of a few minutes when Diana McFee and best friend Maureen find themselves caught up in the middle of a Columbine-style massacre. br / br /The body of the film tracks between two Dianas. Pre-shooting Diana is full of life - a typical teenager whose life revolves around experimenting with boys, dope and anything else she can get away. Adult Diana's life is notionally built around husband Paul and daughter Emma, but the events of 20 years ago are never far away. br / br /Although this is a well made and very watchable film, the film-makers don't seem to have decided what kind of film it is. It starts out as a drama with a psychological/ emotional theme, but changes part way through to suggest a supernatural element. The final twist is so understated, that you almost miss it. br /
