5 out of 5 stars REALLY FUNNY FILM   July 15, 2009

Doghouse [DVD] [2009] br /I saw this film at the cinema and can't wait to add the DVD to my collection. Great script by Dan Schaffer and good acting from all the cast. A good laugh from beginning to end. Danny Dyer is at his chauvanistic best.

Saw this at the cinema. Very entertaining lots of laughs. Not just a lads film very much more comedy than horror. Plus an array of some of the best young actors in Britain.

Miss Quinn
I couldnt wait to see this film and was not disapointed!! It looks like a typical lads film, with a few half naked zombie women walkin around but i thought it was utter brilliance,i loved this film.i found it very funny,i would definately recommend this film for both men and women!! I'll definately be adding this one to my collection.

5 out of 5 stars Shaun of the Dead with PMT   November 3, 2009

Take a bunch of blokes, all with various girlie problems, send them off to the village of a Moodley for a weekend of booze, bonding and - hopefully - bonking and then set the women on them. Not just any women, you understand, but a bunch of infected zombies. We're told, in an attempt to come up with some sort of explanation (which really doesn't matter anyway) that it's a virus. Maybe it is. Maybe it's just a great excuse to have a bunch of inventive, foul mouthed, very funny men getting chased by the most bizarre collection of zombies you've ever seen. If I tell you that they actually start discussing which one of the "girls" they fancy - and this is after at least one of them have been sent to a higher place and they're running out of options - you'll get the idea. Is it the leather clad scissor wielding one? The one in what appears to be a wedding dress and white suspenders? Definitely not the enormous one with a penchant for sticking severed fingers in the birthday cake, obviously. She's the "fat bird". You get the idea. br / br /This is utterly hilarious. Or at least I thought it was and I'm female and probably would have burnt my bra had I been of that age when they were all at it. It's foul mouthed, laugh out loud, dry and very British. "Be a new man tomorrow - tonight we want you to be a misogynistic neanderthal bastard". Cue much gore and inane brilliance. The story is of absolutely no consequence whatsoever. If you enjoyed "Shaun of the Dead", "Severance", "Dog Soldiers" and the like you'll enjoy this. If "Shakespeare in Love" is more your thing or you like a bit of reality with your zombies then perhaps you'd better give this a miss. Get a few pints in, have a curry and laugh until you wet yourself. I did.
