Customer Reviews:
5 out of 5 stars Great collection, with even less commercial hits!   October 13, 2000

This collection has 16 songs from Culture Club in their peak years of 1982 to 1984. Everything is produced by Steve Levine, who is a great producer with this group. But unfortunately, there are no songs from producers Arif Mardin and Lew Hahn, the power house producers who were in charge of the last 1980's album, From Luxury To Heartache. Yet, this collection is a piece of work. It not only has the commercial hits like Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?, Time, It's A Miracle, Victims, Karma Chameleon,Church of the Poison Mind, and The War Song, it has songs that were not that successful. This includes White Boy, I'm Afraid of Me, The Medal Song, and Mistake #3. It even includes the the top charters in the U.S., I'll Tumble 4 Ya, and Miss Me Blind. Yet, even more special, it has non- singles that are brilliant. This includes George and Helen Terry on Changing Everyday, a soul classic. The Dive is also included, and The Dream from the Electric Dreams soundtrack. Again, this is a piece of work. Not only is the price good, but the songs are all the original versions from the first three Culture Club albums and the Electric Dreams soundtrack. You can't loose with this album. Thanks for reading.

3 out of 5 stars The 80s had some bad stuff   September 20, 2009
Blue Naters (Switzerland)
Not bad for nostalgia purposes, most of the well known stuff is on here....they did record some rubbish though!!
