Amazon.co.uk Review
For the fans, iStunt - Special Edition/i collects together a handful of "live favourites"--a term that's usually used to describe a track that's just too dull to be a single, but the band insists on playing anyway. Not so, here--the originals of the live renditions on iStunt - Special Edition/i date back well before the Barenaked Ladies broke internationally with "One Day", to a period where their brand of quirky, but assuredly mainstream college rock was making huge waves in their Canadian homeland. It's the breezy "If I Had $1,000,000" that most closely resembles the comical tumble of "One Day", with the audience screaming back the lyric "I bought a football team to prove that I'm a man/ I guess I shouldn't tell 'em that I like Duran Duran," like clever-clever lyrics are going out of fashion. Which, of course, they're not. i--Louis Pattison/i

This was the first BNL cd I ever bought after hearing "One Week". I've never looked back since. From the opening song you know you're onto a winner. The cd moves from the quirky, comical, foot tapping brilliance that is "One Week" to the slow, moving, thought provoking "When you dream". The only song I can't listen to is "Leave" but then country and western has never appealed to me. And as an added bonus there's 7 extra tracks of their most popular songs, 6 of which are live. The cd didn't leave my player until I bought maroon. If your a BNL fan, you don't need convincing, and if you're not, then this album is all the convincing you need.

5 out of 5 stars No doubt about it, it's just plain excellent!   November 8, 1999
Well, having only heard One Week on the radio when it was in the charts, I went out and bought the album to see what it was like....and what can I say? It's an album made inheaven, a great mix of styles and I love it!

5 out of 5 stars Album of the Year   November 4, 1999

Originally bought as a present for my girlfriend after I had never previously heard of Bare Naked Ladies. Nowadays the album is in my car or at work, and she barely gets to listen to it.pMy favourite tracks have to be 'Alcohol' and 'She's on Time'( not listed ), which when you listen to the lyrics of these songs, probably says a lot about me.pFor my money, the album of the year.

5 out of 5 stars Lets have more Bare naked Ladies   January 24, 2000
The Bare Naked ladies have filled for me a gap in the market. There are few really tight bands around now who have real song writing ability as well. The BNL's have all these and their live performances are excellent especially of the all time classic If I had a Million dollars. Great band well worth a listen and there are no really bad tracks on this album great value for money,

5 out of 5 stars brilliant piece of humourous, entertaining and fun rock/pop   January 10, 2000
this album is exactly the type of thing you want to listen to when the world doesn't seem to make any sense, because at first glance neither do the lyrics to most of these songs, but they really get you thinking and the tunes are irresistably catchy, I recomend alchol and some fantastic, this is a brilliant album to relax and amuse anyone of any age.A must buy.
