A very memorable cd from the 80's November 15, 1999

Yet another flash from the 80's - who doesn't remember watching Sixteen Candles when they play "True" at the high school dance? Or dancing to the song themselves!? This cd includes just about every memorable song Spandau Ballet ever put out and brings back a lot of memories of those days. Some of these were actually surprises that I didn't realise were performed by them, but most of them are staples. There are also a few "filler" songs on here - ones that I don't exactly remember being hits. Regardless, this is a good choice for anyone who liked this scene then.

I remember it well the winter of 1981 and seeing these guys on T.O.T.P. singing Too Cut a Long Story Short , they were different and Tony Hadley had a great voice.All their hits are here and the way the Album is sequenced works well, even if it is not chronological.They really did make some great stuff. Gary Kemp is a great songwriter, there are some great ballads here as well has some uptempo stuff. A treat to here them again.
