5 out of 5 stars duran duran's greatest moments   May 2, 2006

I have always been a fan of Duran Duran, I thought they were great. It took me years to get hold of their greatest hits album but now I have. Its a good album which lists all of their hits way back to the early '80s. From the likes of 'is there something i should know' with its catchy beat and memorable chorus all the way to the '90s with underrated 'come undone' this album will take you on a trip down memory lane. My favourites are 'Girls on film', 'Save a prayer' and 'Hungry like the wolf' but theres not a bad track on the album. The lyrics are genuine unlike some of the rubbish thats been in the charts. I feel duran duran's greatest rounds off their finest hits quite nicely. Outstanding cd.

5 out of 5 stars The Best Duran Duran Compilation Album   November 14, 1999

A brillian compilation album of Duran Duran's hits spanning their entire career from Planet Earth to Ordinary World. Interesting fact that Tony Hadley (ex-lead singer Spandau Ballet) recently covered Save A Prayer - a song which sends shivers down my spine! This album is classic Duran Duran and every title is enjoyable to listen to as can hear all teh different music ranges that Duran are capable of producing from Wild Boys (very macho!) to their James Bond theme tune, View To A Kill

5 out of 5 stars Still sounds as great as the first time round   July 27, 2001

For me, Duran Duran were the quintessential '80s band and listening to this CD brought back all the memories of when I first heard the music and watched the fantastic videos on Top of the Pops!! The songs are pure classic, from the real early stuff through to the more recent, leaner '90s ditties. However, if you're a true child of the '80s then this album is a must have and you'll find yourself irresistibly singing along to all those old tunes which sound just as good and catchy today as they did back then! A must have for the collection!!

5 out of 5 stars The title says it all - simply the GREATEST   January 22, 2004

from Duran Duran! br / br /There are few bands who can still perform pretty much as they did over 20 years ago, but Duran Duran can. br / br /This compilation has all the best tracks, although maybe missing a couple, in my opinion - 'The Chauffeur' and 'Careless Memories', so I couldn't do without 'Arena' too! br /Having recently listened to the band's live recording of 'Come Undone', I have to admit that I hadn't really given this track, the last on the compilation, much air time ....until recently! br /Brilliant and at a 'GREATEST' price on Amazon, too! br / br /1. Is There Something I Should Know br /2. Reflex br /3. View To A Kill br /4. Ordinary World br /5. Save A Prayer br /6. Rio br /7. Hungry Like The Wolf br /8. Girls On Film br /9. Planet Earth br /10. Union Of The Snake br /11. New Moon On Monday br /12. Wild Boys br /13. Notorious br /14. I Don't Want Your Love br /15. All She Wants Is br /16. Electric Barbarella br /17. Serious br /18. Skin Trade br /19. Come Undone

5 out of 5 stars Duran Duran Greatest Hits   February 25, 2004

Where do I start. Of course I am a fan from way back....Duran Duran being my very first concert on Feb 24, 1984 at the Rosemont Horizon in Illinois. Who would have thought what could become of the 5 guys from Brum?! I do love the early stuff which is what attracted me in the first place, but the fact remains that listening to this cd taps into a variety of periods in my life...and the music being some of the best parts. It's like listening to a soundtrack of my life...starting with Planet Earth..ahh so innocent..thru Electric Barbarella...now all grown up. I think everyone can relate..even those closet 'Duranies'.
