Amazon.co.uk Review Queen brought a whole new meaning to the phrase over the top. While rock roll flamboyance stretched back at least as far as Little Richard, Freddie Mercury continued to camp it up, taking little seriously and smirking at the music's growing pretensions while partaking in them no small bit. Many of the band's singles hold up extremely well, such as "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Killer Queen" and "You're My Best Friend". The quartet's canny sense of melody and sophisticated vocal harmonies--not to mention Mercury's raised eyebrow--have travelled well through the years. i--Rickey Wright/i

Truly Unbelieveable Album! January 13, 2003 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This album is a truly stunning album by Queen, and you will not see the likes of this for a very long time. brIt starts off with the classic hit, "Bohemian Rhapsody," which is 30 years old, and it may be long by today's standards at 6 minutes long, but how many songs do you get today with a mix of piano, rock and opera?!brNext is "Another One Bites the Dust," a classic drum song from Roger Taylor. "Killer Queen" is another well known hit, and is still brilliant.brThere are some hidden gems in this album, like "Save Me" and "Don't Stop Me Now" which are two completely different songs, but with fantastic lyrics.brTo finish the album off, the last three songs go "Seven Seas of Rhye," Queen's real first hit, in 1971, and is still great, even today! The last two you will find yourself singing along too time and time again, with "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions."brA truly classic album, but unforunately these sort of albums are not around any more! BUY IT TODAY!

Does not include any song that is less than superb! February 23, 2006 Kurt A. Johnson (North-Central Illinois, USA) 13 out of 14 found this review helpful
Queen rocked to stardom in the 1970s, with Freddie Mercury#x27;s (1946-91) silky voice leading. They produced many excellent songs, and were popular worldwide, right up until Freddie Mercury#x27;s death from AIDS in 1991. Throughout my youth, I loved Queen#x27;s sound, and their many wonderful songs - and now I have them again! pThis fantastic album contains all of Queen#x27;s greatest songs, including Bohemian Rhapsody, Killer Queen, Save Me, and of course We Will Rock You We Are The Champions. Yes, that#x27;s right, this album has the greatest Queen hits, and does not include any song that is less than superb! If you are a fan of Queen then this is definitely an album you must get. Heck, even if you just love great rock `n#x27; roll in general, you will love this CD. pThis is a great CD, one that I cherish and would not be without. I give this album my highest recommendations!
Undoubtedly one of THE best albums of all time! November 18, 2000 freddiehg@btinternet.com (Mansfield, England) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is undoubtedly the best album the band released, showing in particular the artistic merit which Freddie possesses. The album combines the supreme harmonised vocals of the band, and the hard rock tunes that they are so notoriously known for. Consisting of the outstanding harmonised vocal songs, such as 'Somebody To Love' and 'Killer Queen', to the classic rock anthems of 'We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions'. Note that 'Bohemian Rhapsody' is officially the 'Song of the Millennium' and the 4th best seller of all time. A strong reccomendation for anyone, and a must for Queen fans who don't already own this superb album.
Queen will keep on rocking forever and ever and ever... May 16, 2000 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
I have always loved Queen. pWhich some people find strange because I'm 13, female and all my friends love teenybop music, which I hate.pQueen are a legend. Every song they ever recorded is excellent, this one being the first of three-so far-Greatest Hits album, though every album is a hit.pTimeless classics up 'til 1980, including the epic Bohemian Rhapsody, anthems We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions, groovy Another One Bites The Dust, the different and lyrically strange Killer Queen and Seven Seas Of Rhye...too many to describe.pQueen still live on, even with the tragic death of Freddie, and they'll always have a place in my heart, and my CD rack.pGoodbye everybody, I've got to go, gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
