Editorial Reviews:

From Amazon.com
Despite a name that suggests he's not in it for the long run, this 24-year-old Washington, DC native is attempting to set the standard for the premillenium loverman. He's got washboard abs to go with serious pecs, an earnest if not terribly flamboyant voice, and a sense of subtlety. His work is pleasantly free of the overwrought longing and distress that diminish most quiet storm efforts. Ginuwine's first CD is produced by Timbaland and features his trademark sparse soundscapes, which aim to support rather than overpower the frontman. In Maxwellian mode, Ginuwine has the sense to ask for, rather than declare, his carnal intentions, and he does so in songs that hold up to repeated listening. Ginuwine has--well--genuine musical merit. I--Martin Johnson/I

5 out of 5 stars Turn it up loud as you can!!!   February 6, 2001

This is an excellent album with an interesting introduction... Pony is a great track setting the pace for the other tracks on the album. It really is one that you want to turn up as loud as you can without disturbing the neighbours! Makes you want to bump and grind!!!

5 out of 5 stars what an album   April 21, 2004

ginuwine what an artist. did not know a thing about him until i went to america to see my aunty's wedding. i saw the in those jeans video and differences and from that moment i was hooked on him. and from since returning to england i have been desperate to get my hands on his albums. and i have managed doing so. from out off all the albums i have found the bachelor to be the best one. not because it has the enormously popular pony on it but because there is not a weak track on the entire album and the album itself is amazin. it is a pitty that ginuwine as not really toured over hear in england apart from the brief appearance he had on top of the pops perfroming his hell yeah single which entered the charts at a dismall no. 21 otherwise is music will sell like hotcakes. he really is that good. his dancin is flawless and he really is a strong competitor to the likes of usher and justin timberlake if not better.
