I knew BW could sing and play before he could act so it was no surprise that this album is as good as it is. There are a couple of "fillers" but tracks such as "Under the boardwalk", "Respect yourself", "Down in Hollywood"(incidently Ry Cooder does a good rendition of this) etc etc more than compensates for these. Sure there are better versions of the covers I admit but for sheer energy and personality BW is the man. If you like 60s soul/RnB classics plus harmonica and frenetic horn/brass then buy this.

Many people will simply presume that Bruce Willis is on a vanity roll with his musical albums, as he's only had one album and then a couple of re-releases with additional tracks this isn't so. The truth is that Bruce Willis has been harmonica jamming RB musician longer than he has been an actor. The album will not win any awards for it's technical ability nor will Bruce himself gain stardom for this collection of foot tapping, horn blowing numbers, but they are sung with passion and energy and, like The Blues Brothers, it isn't about howe well it's sung, but it's how enjoyable it is, and you can enjoy these tunes over and over again.pWorthy of a buy, just don't expect Ray Charles
