Recorded just as Simpson was entering her 20s, IIrresistible/I is Jessica's diary of being a global pop star thrown into the limelight while still in her late teens. Tracks such as "I Never" (produced by Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins), the raw "Hot Like Fire" and the RB swinger "Imagination" are tunes encoded with the plea, "I'm a big girl now. Please take me seriously." "A Little Bit" and "What's It Gonna Be" are classic teen-pop moments, while the ballads "There You Were" and "For Your Love" appear to be flashbacks to purer times. The gospel finale "His Eye Is on the Sparrow" is Jessica's reassuring nod to her grandmother that she's still a good, god-fearing girl. --IJohn Galilee/I

This is an amazing album whats so amazing is how each song can be so different, but so good. I have to admit I wasn't the biggest admiring of her debut album in her debut album there were glimpes of her amazing voice.pThis album isn't full of slow ballads but most of the songs are full of energy and some of the lyrics are very clever, my personal favourite is 'A Little Bit'.pJessica simpson derserves to have a real hit with this CD. Its highly recommended from me. I have to say i don't have any other CD with this amount of diversity to be song by the same artist and i would be surprized if there was one. I am thrilled with this CD to have loved every single song, usually i will edit the playlist but not this one i couldn't. This is 'Hot Like fire' and i urge you to buy it, you won't regret it.pIf you loved the song iresistable than you will love this allthough there is no song like iresistable but you will love every track at least i did. Iresistable is not the best track it just gives you a taste and tells you what the album is.pYour love this becauce of the variation BUY IT

This song rocks! Jessica may not have had the success of Britney and Christina, but she has a firm base of fans who support her 100%. This song shows she has grown musically and spritually. Her style is more mature, with it's catchy lyrics and dance-worthy beat! A sure hit! Look out Britney and Christina, this is the year of JESSICA!!!!!!!

Jessica Simpson is back,looking and sounding better than ever.The Texas babe has a great new song out called Irresistable. The song has a nice upbeat rhythm to it,and the lyrics of the chorus make you want to sing along to it. Jessica Simpson shows us her classy vocal talents on this song,and shows talent and maturity far beyond her young years.This stunning Texas babe,really does possess a warm melodic singing voice,which makes her such an amazing vocalist. There is no doubt about it,Jessica Simpson has returned in fine style,looking and sounding better than ever. WOW, this album is definetly a must-buy. I bought it because i thought her last album was pretty cool (despite some of the hairball ballads!) and the new song 'Irresistable' is great, BUT its not even the best song! Heres my view.pIrresistable- You've probably heard this, its an upbeat Britney pop style meets Latin (think Jennifer Lopez) its a catchy song! 8/10pA little bit- This is great! Its a very upbeat r'n'b tinged song, it took a few listens to grow on me but now i love it, and it has fab lyrics aswell! 9/10pForever in your eyes- Ooohh this is lovely, and definetly a change for Jess. It is quite upbeat, i really love the background music and the words are so sweet 7/10pThere you were - Aaaawwww this is very sweet, its the first real slow ballad on the album and its a great one. It takes a while to grow on me (as did most the song on the album) but its a definete winner! 7/10pWhats it gonna be- I LOVE this song! It is very teenypop, upbeat and sugary sweet, i love the catchy lyrics and you have just gotta hear it! 10/10pWhen you told me you loved me- This is another slow hairball ballad, its nice and everything but it didnt stand out to me as one of the best tracks even after a few listens, but its definetly sweet to listen to if your in the mood 6/10pHot like fire - Ok this is wiked and you can just tell its got to be a single, Jess is feistier than ever in this upbeat catchy r'n'b hit which ranks as one of the albums top tunes! 9/10pImagination- Another upbeat pop hit, its got a catchy hook and nice lyrics but its not the best on the album, although i wouldnt class it as filler! 6/10pTo fall in love again- Another slow ballad, i think this is one of my favourites, very sweet 7/10pFor your love- I LOVE THIS! My favourite slow ballad on the album! It is just beautiful you have to hear it, its gets a 9/10pI never- the last real upbeat pop song on the album, it is the most r'n'b and very mature, i love the chorus and hook 7/10pHis eye is on the sparrow - This is a perfect ending! To begin with it is slow but soon gets faster and the song is very upbeat and gospel, and positive! 8/10pOverall, a very good album and i would say the album is 9 out of 10, whereas Sweet kisses was about 7 out of 10. So definetly an imporovement on an already great singer. Cant wait for the next!

i first discovered jessica simpson when she relaesed her album irresistble and loved it, when she released her album in this skin i knew i was a huge fan, are songs have depth and are very catchy, although she is compared with the likes of britney and christina she defeintly has the talent i would recomend this album to anyone who likes a bit of music that has melody and is easy to sing a long to.bri would also highly recomend both her sister ashlee simpson#x27;s album i cant out them down
