4 out of 5 stars tommy lee at his emotional best   September 16, 2002

this album is everything you could wish for from a tommy lee record. it is loud, emotional and did i mention loud??pthe first track, "afterglow" is dark rap metal track similar the korns new material and sets the pace for the rest of the record. the best tracks on the album are "sunday", "face to face" and "people so strange". these 3 tracks are the loudest, hardest and most passionate on the album. the other stand out tracks are "blue" a rock ballad with buckets of feeling and the first single taken from the album, "hold me down" which is the track most reminiscent of the old '80's motley crue material.pthe only disapointing track on the album is "body architects" which gets very dull after a couple of minutes and goes on far too long. it also sounds asthough it was made very hastily as the lyrics are dreadful and the sound is nothing special at all.panother high point of the album is the track "fame" a cover of an old david bowie track. believe me it is worth going to see tommy live just to see jumping around the stage in a "pimp daddy" outfit while he sings this track with a female dancer in a glow in the dark bikini flips around. pi dont think that this album will win many awards but if you like good old fashioned rockers making loud music then this is a good buy.
