Amazon.co.uk Review Busta Rhymes's sixth solo album, iIt Ain't Safe No More/i, loosely follows in the tradition of 1998's IExtinction Level Event/I and 2000's IAnarchy/I, offering up lucid, timely commentary over futuristic beats. In fact, his previous new world order rants provide a perfect prelude to his post-9/11 analysis on the title track. While Busta offers his unpredictable array of flows across the usual balance of club tracks ("Make It Clap"), hottie songs of praise ("Hey Ladies"), and obligatory street anthems ("What Do You Do When You're Branded"), one can't help wonder why he'd mix in tired concepts (south Asian compositions on "Take It off Part 2") or perform the pimped-out, playa routine on "Taste It", with its sundry--yawn--sexual references. Like its predecessor, IGenesis/I, this album is sonically superior to most in the marketplace thanks to contributions from the Neptunes. While big name collaborations with Mariah Carey on "I Know What You Want" (where Busta croons) and Carl Thomas ("The Struggle Will Be Lost") don't exactly change the price of butter, hey, at least Busta's not pointlessly advertising chi-chi liquor companies this time around. --IDalton Higgins/I

| Customer Reviews: Good Busta December 25, 2003 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've never really been interested in getting a busta album although i really do think he can rap well. I decided to purchase It Aint Safe No More and to begin with i didnt think much. But s i played the tunes through i found the albums a real gem. The Neptunes "Call The "Ambulance" tune, is impressive and doesnt fail to dissappointment with raw busta lyrics on a usual neptunes beat. The chilled, hip beat of "Turn Me Up Some" delivers top quality busta rhymes and the heavy rockin vibe of "Till It's Gone" really gives u the sense of old and new skool busta. This is Busta at his finest. Top Quality. If you like him buy it if you dont try it!.

It's damn dangerous July 10, 2003 Mr. S. J. Sehgal (London) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Amazing album. Every Busta Rhymes takes time for me to get used to. This one I've had for about 2 months and now I'm loving it! Every song has a quality in it's own right. You can just bounce to the beat even if you don't understand what he's saying.. lol. He's an amazing rapper and hip hip hop artist.pThe skits are so funny too. TROJAN MAN ASS CLAP to mention a couple pMay he continue to reign as my favourite Hip Hop Artist.pRespect
Safe? - No it Ain't December 10, 2002 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
well....another fantastic piece of lyrical music from the main man of urban rhyme.brWith tracks like "It Ain't Safe No More" explaining that we really don't live in a safe enviroment, really hits facts home.pWith that heavy street sound you then have a mellow vibe with some of the other tracks, even one with the flimode squad and Mariah carey.brThe production is tight and this album is about 4 years ahead of its time.brRah Digga comes up with the goods and just blows you away with her fierce and aggressive ryhmes.brAnother excellent album from the man Busta who is setting the standard throughout the world. Check It.
Dissapointment! December 16, 2002 peter hodgson (Manchester, England) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
When I noticed a new busta albumn in the shops i bought at first sight. I took it home an listened to it. I then walked back to the shop and returned it. I am a great busta fan but this new albumn is pathetic. The tunes have lost all their attitude and "bop ya head feeling" as we found in fire it up, break ya neck and rhymes galore. The rapping isn't too bad but the rushed and boring beats are too repetetive and seem as if they are unfinished. You spend the time listening to the songs waiting for it to kick in or reach its peak when it then finishes. Make it clap isn't to bad but gets a little dull. The songs and beats have lost all their space and funk sound and the rapping isn't as raw as the busta of old. Lets not hope he's sold his soul to the pop world like ja rule and will bring out a better, more hardcore albumn next time. If I was you I would only buy it if it was for the collection and I happened to have won the lottery
