Sophie Monk turned up to audition for a new female pop tv programme called Popstars: Australia. Before Popstars UK hit screens in the UK -- along with thousands of other ladies she made it into the final 5 and a group was formed, they became known as "Bardot" (as in the famous French Actress, Brigitte Bardot) and they had a No. 1 hit with their debut single. pAfter a couple of years it was down to just 3 ladies -- think Spice Girls after Geri Halliwell left. Their pop songs were similar and they were huge in Australia but soon crashed into oblivion. pI don#x27;t know what the other members do now but Sophie Monk is still a hottie who divides her time between Sydney and Los Angeles. You may have noticed she was in a Blink 182 video and has appeared in several popular tv shows in the US and covers of magazines such as FHM and Ralph. Sophie#x27;s still singing and performed at "Carols in the Domain" but acting comes first for the time being.pShe#x27;s currently forging her way as an Actress in LA and is soon staring in a new movie called the "Date Movie". She beat out Actress, Carmen Electra for the role and critics are giving the film good reviews and praising her. pIt#x27;s onwards and upwards for our bright shining Aussie star: Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you Miss Sophie Monk!
