I heard this song for the 1st time on its world exclusive play on Jo Whileys show on Radio 1. Its Amazing, It's got abit of Slade And Freddy Mercury in there but that just makes it better. The song Starts with a Great drum intro and ends with choir children. If you have any sence you'll but this and make it Crimbo No.1. i will.

In the current climate of manufactured pop idols and limp cover versions by androgneous boy/girl bands - thank heaven for The Darkness!pWhen we're all just about fed up with the same old christmas singles or the new lame cover versions produced by overly sincere boy/girl bands just to cash in on christmas and to get the christmas number one - this comes as a breath of fresh air!.pThe Darkness play it strictly for laughs - and this single is just great fun!. Even with the falsetto vocals and the cheesy rock guitar riffs, the song is eminently singable - not least by the myriads of schoolboys across the land on whom the double-entendre of the main title won't be lost!.pAnd for the rest of us, this is what we want at Christmas! Something new - something to bring a smile to our faces when it's played on a loop in all the shops and supermarkets.pThoroughly entertaining and original, The Darkness have struck just the right note here. A tongue-in-cheek tribute to previous christmas smashes - but also a new "classic" stamped with their own original style. We'll be seeing more of this song in future Christmasses I'm sure.pSo altogether now - "It's Christmas time - Don't let the Bells End!!"

This is on the Christmas list of everyone I know..... they just don't know it yet! It's got everything you need for a truly rocking Christmas - sleigh bells, children singing sweetly, heartfelt yuletide lyrics..... and of course GUITARS! If this doesn't make number one this Christmas, I will eat my furry slippers. Buy it!!!

First experienced The Darkness' Xmas assault at the Astoria Homecoming show and wasn't all that keen. To say that this is growing on me would be an understatement and an awful pun, all in one. A real feel good track with big geeetars and kiddies choir (in tune on the recorded version) plus a ridiculous video. How can this fail? Easily, it won't be xmas number one because here in Britain we seem to pride ourselves on being tasteless idiots. Popstars will be number one. Bring on the apocalypse

Ok, what can I say about this one?! This is a fantastic little Christmas number from that fabulous band 'The Darkness.' It really deserves to be at number 1 this christmas based on its title alone! Justin Hawkins is an amazing frontman and on this CD comes across just as always - with passion, flair, and tremendous style! The Darkness are definitely a force to be reckoned with and deserve all the success that is coming to them. This one will be on Christmas albums for years to come, regardless as to whether it gets to number 1 or not - ingenius stuff from the masters of cheese themselves!
