4 out of 5 stars Real hillbilly stuff   February 10, 2005

I bought this album with not a little trepidation. On Urban's website, this episode of 1997 when he started out in the States after leaving Australia and got together The Ranch, seems to be sketched over rather rapidly.brWell, how wrong I was to be worried over money badly spent.brI actually bought his new album Be Here at the same time, although that is another story.brThis album is a bean-eating-around-the-campfire, stetson-throwing, checked-shirt-wearing, foot-stomping, rodeo-cowboy music phenomenon.brTracks one,two and three are absolutely fantastic, Urban excels himself as usual on all three, but the whopper for me is track 4 Some Days You Gotta Dance. Track 8 Hank Don't Fail Me Now is cool as is track 12 Ghost In The Guitar. His rendition of Raffertys Stuck In The Middle is also suprisingly good.brAlthough track 10 Clutterbilly doesn't match up to Rollercoast, his Grammy nominated musicical beauty on his first album, it remains nonetheless a great track to listen to full blast in the car.brThe music video at the end is worth seeing, if only for Urban himself in action. Apparently a guitar king and as someone has recently said, "Could be the greatest Country star ever in the making".brThat remains to be seen, but whatever the outcome of his career, I'm enjoying every bit of him right now.
