5 out of 5 stars Quality album   April 25, 2004

I think this album is awesome i heard the songs on stream.brOnes that stand out are il be damned, how come, get my gun, b**ch andAmerican psycho 2 which features Cypress Hill.brThe album really shows how good all the members are and not just Eminemand after this they might finally get the respect they deserve.brMuch better than first album which i also enjoyed, but its better beacausegives them all chance to shine and the beats are all really good aswell. It shows how they've grown as rappers and they can do different types ofsongs and how Eminem has improved his producing skills.brThe album shows that D12 can be serious because the song Good die young isabout their friend that died bugz and shows a different side to D12.brA must have album

5 out of 5 stars Much better than devils night   May 13, 2004

I am not going to write a huge review but im goin to keep it short and simple. First of if you loved Devil's Night then you probably wont think this is as good as it, but if you like eminems newer works like the 'the eminem show' then you would prefer this album. If you also like albums like 'get rich or die tryin' and 'cheers' you will like this. This is because this album is much more upto date and isn't as sick and twisted as devils night and is more of the type of music that you can pump on the stereo and chill with. Production wise this album I think is great, the beats are all very different and much more constructed unlike there first album where the beats were quite simple and basically weak drum programming. Now as for the rest of d12, they are all quality on this album and each memeber has an equal share and eminem is not 'hogging' and doesnt appear on several songs. There are many subject matters on this album and so it is kept varied and it is the sort of album that you can play many times. The intro 'git up' to this is album is great and it will keep you listening to the rest of the album. Overall a well put together album and definetely one of this years better rap albums and definetely worth the money.

5 out of 5 stars Guess Who's back....   April 20, 2004

Well I have to say, I've been waiting for this album for what seems like years......pEminem and the guys have been back to the studios and Em has gone back to his roots (before he blew up!).pFrom what I 've heard of the tracks of this album, it's a vast improvement on the previous album (although it has to be said that was a great album - "purple pills" what a banging tune!!!!).pIf you've heard the current song on release ("My band") you're going to love the rest. "My Band" is perhaps the best song on the album (perhaps other will grow on me).pThe guys in D12 (apart from eminem) are so talented and yet they go unrecognised - as the "My Band" song says.pPerhaps they should try to do a few solo projects then people would see their potential - perhaps they will.pBuy this album if you liked the last, get in your car with the wondows down and let it rip.pTHE album to have for summer!!!!!!

After their last album "Devil's Night", I was a little bit cautious of there latest attempt. D12 have always appeared a bit gimmicky to me, but after "How Come" came out as a single i rushed out to buy it. And yet again i was proved very wrong, this has to be one of the best hip hop album's out this year! It's hiphop at its best, mixing old school with newer funkier beats, and the tongue in cheek lyrics from Eminem and Bizzare. pEvery song on this album rocks, from the faster tracks; Get My Gun; Leave That Boy Alone; Six In The Morning; Get Up and Keep talking, to the slower stronger tracks; Good Die Young and How Come. I have listened to this album 50 times over and i'm still not bored! Quite an achievment for me. pThere is such a contrasting mixture of members in D12, that there is a fantastic mix of flavours. Proof keeps it real and ganstar; Bizzare keeps it surreal and dirty and Eminem is just typical Eminem! pSo basically this album is amp!
