Amazon.co.uk Review
While its companion disc ISuit/I offers Nelly at his most mature and refined, ISweat/I takes direct aim at the "Hot in Herre" crowd. Why not? "Hot in Herre" has reached karaoke proportions. Nelly wastes little time here in reminding everyone just how great he is on "Na-Nana-Na," where he recites an inventory of his accomplishments over a smattering of found sounds and drum breaks. The Neptunes-hemmed "Flap Your Wings" may re-establish him as the king of club rap, with its infectious "drop down and get your eagle on, girl" chant that comes with an accompanying dance. "Tilt Ya Head Back," featuring a subpar Christina Aguilera, and the dubby "River Don't Runnn" are both confounding yet genetically engineered for radio airplay. Don't hate the player, hate the game. Who else would have the nerve to re-jig the instantly recognizable John Tesh "NBA on NBC" theme ("Heart of a Champion") into a hip-hop club track? I--Dalton Higgins/I

5 out of 5 stars Nelly back - hitting you twice as hard   October 6, 2004

At last Nelly's back, and with 2 times too much material! But do we care? Of course not! Sweat is the more hip-hop styled album (Suit being more RnB and ballady). There isnt a stand out track on the album, as more exactly - they are all stand outs. Especially Na-Nana-Na, an incredibly upbeat dance vibe song which cant help but get you moving. Flap Your Wings - track 3 - is possibly the roughest sounding track - with the hardest rap vibes coming off it. The opening track, Heart of A champion, is full of energy and is typically a grand start to a much hyped album.pA third stand out track is NElly's collaboration with Christina Aguilera on Tilt Ya Head Back. The only possible dissapointing track is River Dont Runn - too raggae sounding for Nelly i think, nothing esspecially wrong with the song - just not necesarily a lot right. Apart from that a truley fantasic album!

Nelly is back! Woooooooo. Wait, hold on. Is it me or am i seeing double here? TWO Nelly albums. Unless you're on a mega rich salary you're probably thinking you might as well only buy one. Hmmmmm tricky. Well i'll cut to the chase. Buy Suit, because it is wayyyy more enjoyable than this. Though that doesnt mean to say this album doesn't deserve a look at. It's cool, funny, engrossing and with tracks like 'Flap Your Wings', 'Another One' and 'Getcha Getcha' you have to praise Nelly's talent and the fact he's still got it. Though some tracks don't live up to te nature of 'Work It' or 'Hot In Herre' it only just falls short of the mark!

Nelly is amazin. 2 albums like that released at the same date! If you have to choose one buy the new one "Sweat/Suit." That'll probably be the best. Nelly shows that he can do nearly everything asked of him.
