When I first saw the adverts for mean girls, I thought that it was going to be another stupid teenie bopper movie, but I was pleasantly surprised. I love this film and everything about it! pAll the music on the cd fully complements the film and the only song it's lacking is Noreaga- Put em up, and theres a random track thats not even in the film, but it's quite good so I'm not bothered. I have to say my favourite songs are Nikki Cleary- Hated (I actually laughed the first time I heard it!), Samantha Ronson- Built this way and Peaches- Operate. However the whole cd is great, and this album is well worth buying; if you liked Mean Girls you'll love this cd!

As I am 30, and enjoyed the film Mean Girls immensely, but not the diabolical version of "Dancing with Myself" or some of the other songs for which you would have to strongly appreciate the artist (and I didn't!), I don't necessarily think this was the best CD for me. br / br /What also annoyed me was that the version of Halcyon by Orbital (not to be confused with Halcyon On and On by the same band) which features at the end of the film, where the new "mean girls" get ran over by a bus in Kady's daydream, was not on this CD. As it is vastly superior to the On and On version, I'd have bought a cd just for having it on! br / br /However, I suppose if you're one of those types who loves film music to remind you of your happy watching of this great film, all this is no reason for you not to buy it. Especially when you can get it cheap second hand!!
