Beautiful Intentions is Melanie C's "labour of Love" and has been developed over the course of nine months.pThose of us luck enough got to see melanie preview 6 songs during the Barfly tour in June last year!pHere goes the review:p1. Beautiful IntentionspA very rocky introduction to the album, a big fan favourite from the tour last year. A superb song that is very energetic! Very guitar based. Melanie's has great Vocals here. Great. p8/10p2. Next Best SuperstarpThe first single from the album. This is a stand out from the album! This songs takes a look at peoples obsession with celebrity culture!! Great beat and again great vocals. Should put Melanie back out there as one of the best UK females! After only a week of video airplay the song was at 16! This song is out on the 4th April. p9/10p3. Better AlonepA very emotional ballad! This song is simply beautiful! It is melanie and a piano at the start but then violins then in verse 2 the drums kick in! This songs seems to be about moving on after the break-up of a relationship (or *hush* split from a record label *hush*). p8/10p4. Last Night On EarthpThis is is a good song, but just a filler, it should never be a single! This is, in my opinion, the most poppish on the album! This is a good flirty song but thats it. p6/10p5. You Will SeepThis to me see is a very James Bondesq! It's quite a dark and brilliantly produced! Its a song that is a fan favourite and is a very strong song, raw and passionate! p8/10p6. Never Say NeverpIts very rocky and up-beat! One of the highlights of the album!Is this about the Spice Girl reunion like many of the worlds media have commented?? Well judge for yourself! p8/10p7. Good GirlpThis is another ballad for the ablum. Its very light and dreamy, this song is one of those songs that you can just chill out to! Its very summery, something to relax to on a warm sunny day! I really like this song! Very different from Better Alone! However it will not be brought out as there are other stronger songsp7/10p8. Don't Need ThispThis, to me, is quite country and very anastacia! The courus is very up-beat and is very catchy!! Good guitar and piano collaberations! stand out!p9/10p9. Little Piece of MepI didn't like this at first but by god do this song grow on you. its quite at the start and the songs builds and builds to a climax! It is simply great! Contender for a single!p9/10p10. Here NowpThis is another ballad! Its quite an acoustic number and soft again with a piano! This is another relaxing song that you can chill out to!!p7/10p11. Take Your PleasurepVery up-beat and rocky! Quite and this bang with the courus! Seems to be about the press alsway biching about melanie and all her critics! p8/10p12. You'll get yourspA mid-tempo ballad, it's just bloody fabulous! This has to be a single and is a fantastic end to the album! very raw and emotional! I am a huge fan of Melanie C and this is my review of her brand new album Beautiful Intentions. Release date 11/4/05.pThis album has produced some fine work from Melanie over the past 9 months. Always catchy to the ears and never fails to dissapoint. Many people criticised Melanie's second solo album Reason. So much that her record company dropped her. I think this was a turning point as Melanie had more determination and drive to hit back. She wanted people to hear what she thought about celebrity life, so what does she do she writes a song about celebrity life, a simple solution. Next Best Superstar, this is a song that could have easily got on to Melanie's first album Northen Star. "Sell your life; sell your soul telling everyone you know You're living your dream" This line from the single shows that people who want to go into the music business work so hard to get there and the ones who are criticised go back to when they were at the beging of their music career dreaming that they would be the biggest superstar. This didn't happen to Melanie until her second album which i feel did not deserve the criticism that it recieved. Going on into the new album Beautiful Intentions, It opens with the absoloutley superb song Beautiful Intentions. This song is amazing once you hear it you want to listen to it over and over. The guitar, the drums, the vocals eveything is superb. It's going to be a huge hit. Last Night On Earth is the same aswell other hits include Little Peice Of Me, Never Say Never and You'll Get Yours. And of course there are a few more mellow songs such as Better Alone and Here and Now. Both of these show the sensitive side to Melanie as we saw in Melanie's Second album.pThe year 2005 is looking very bright for Melanie C especially In April with her first single Next Best Superstar is released followed a week later by the release of the Album Beautiful Intentions. And to go with that Melanie is going on tour across the whole of th UK.pThis for me is the best album of Melanie's solo carrer and all thats left to say is Beautiful Intentions is a must buy album for 2005!!!

If this is the way Mel C has always wanted to sound then we the public have been sorely deprived!brFrom beginning to end the album moves at a tremendous pace with not a single duff note - let alone track - in earshot.brI'm not going to pull out any single track for special mention cos they're all brilliant. brSo do yourself, and Miss C, a favour and BUY THIS ALBUM!!

The undeserved title of "the most talented spice girl" has struck again. What I mean by undeserved is comparative. Mel C has managed to transend her past as a member of a girl band to produce 3 albums of well written and phenomenally well sung masterpieces.brFor fear of sounding sycophantic she has managed to showcase her talents to a profound degree since leaving the confines of a commercially biased promotional vehicle as such was the spice girls, she has truly spread her wings and has matured as an independent artist.brThis album is a return to form from a truly memorably first album. She has incorporated soft meaningful ballads with alternative background sounds, upbeat forceful lyrics with metallic guitar rifs. This is a must for all those who fell in love with her early solo sound.brThoroughly recommended? weren't you listening? that would be a big YEAH!!!!

Im a huge fan of Melanie C and this is my review of her new album Beautiful Intentions.p1. Beautiful Intentions - What a track to open with this song is superb the lyrics are perfect, the sound is so catchy that you could listen to this song overe and over again. 10/10p2. Next Best Superstar - The first track released from the album. Melanie hits back at programs like pop idol and fame academy and gets her point across. Great tune however not the best on the album. 8/10p3. Better Alone - This the first of 4 ballads and the best of the 4 this is sure to be a hit and will be released as her second single from the album. It shows her sensitive side of life as did her second album Reason. Easy to listen to amazing song. 10/10p4. Last Night On Earth - This is power at it's highest there are no words to describe this song accept simply brilliant. Real rock side of Melanie one of the best on the album. 9/10p5. You will see - A lot of different views on this song personally this is good but one of the weakest tacks on the albums. 7/10p6. Never Say Never - This track just gets stuck in your mind its a great song and im not going to take points away because of that. Easy listening once again 8/9 out of 10p7. Good Girl - Second ballad on the album prob the weakest ballad on the albumbut its still a great song so you no that 2 more songs will get great reviews. Veryemotional side to the album. 8/10p8. Dont Need This - Once again catchy tune throughout the song, in this song im really hoping that she was having a dig at her previous record label Virgin. The line " I dont need this i dont need you" shows that Melanie can do this on her own and she has proven this by creating her own record label and a superb 3rd album. superb song. 9/10p9. Little Piece Of Me - WOW what a tack this is Melanie at the very top of her game. straight away the beat is amazing and you know what the expect from this song and my god it lives up to expectations. All the way through the song the lyrics are perfect. Melanie can certainly speak her mind and i love it. 10/10p10. Here and Now - Another ballad and again as they all are easy listenig and great tunes. 8/10p11. Take Your Pleasure - A typical ROCK SONG and i cant wait to see if this is released as a single because the video could be quite something. Melanie loves her rock music and she can certainly create her own aswell. 9/10p12. You'll Get Yours - What a way to close the album a superb son and the last of the 4 ballads and this is the one that stands out the most. The chourus is amazing the sound is amazing truly amazing. 10/10pMelanie has put in a lot of hard work over the last 9 months to create her third solo album Beautiful Intentions and she has produced her finest work. There is never a dull momment in this album, Melanie keeps up with the pace and she hasn't let anyone one with this album. It is simply awsome.
