Having been told (about 50 times) by my best friend how good these guys are I decided to by both this album and Take This To Your Grave. It was definitely the correct decision to make! There is something on these CDs for everybody whether you like, metal, punk or are into more mainstream indie. The lyrics are just fantastic (and hilarious in places) and it makes for great listening no matter what you#x27;re doing. I have literally listened to nothing else since purchasing them. Roll on the next one!!

Fall Out Boy are a band I had sort of known about for about a year or so, yet never really got into. Then after hearing the soon to be classic Sugar, We#x27;re Going Down on Kerrang!! I decided to give them a shot and bought this, there second UK album.brWow! This band have it all. At the same time uplifting, raging, fun and sinister. This is new age punk with catchy poppy guitars yet with dark, more mature lyrics, sort of like a grown up New Found Glory. The guitar work is phenomenal with hook after riff after hook played to perfection. Also Pete Wendtz voice manages to be tuneful yet also rough. This album, is in short amazing.brHighlights for me are the aforementioned Sugar,.. plus Nobody Puts Baby... and A Little Less Sixteen Candles.. So if you like guitar bands yet have become disillusioned with the poorness of recent Strokes efforts and the too kiddy pop of Orson and Green Day then Fall Out Boy are the band for you. Also recommended if you like this are Alkaline Trio, Taking Back Sunday, Trivium and Yellowcard.

great.....bri am used to cheesy , pointless typical american rubbish bands messing up the music scene , but this made a welcome change...this is a truly outstanding album, that blends a great voice , lyrics and perfection on the guitar , into one great album(rare these days)...every song is catchy and they seem to be melodic and punky at the same time , as well as haing meaningful lyrics to compliment the amazing sound....fall out boy are definitely going to be big but i just hope to God that they dont attract the screaming teenage girls so many pop-punk bands get when performing live....anyway , if you are appreciative of good music , then this is most definitely for you....brp.s sorry all you teenage girls , you#x27;re ok really....

Heey! Well I don#x27;t normally do rock music..RB and Dance are my things..But when I heard Sugar, we#x27;re going down I was like woah! I then listened to a few more songs and I 3 FOB! The album is amazing..The music, lyrics their voices fit so well together. The best songs have to be Of all the gin joints in the world, dance dance, Sugar we#x27;re going down, XO, Champagne for my real friends, our lawyers made us change the name of this song so that we wouldn#x27;t get sued, and I have a dark alley and an Idea that says you should shut your mouth..Ha the titles might be long and confusing but the songs are SO good!! I would reccomend this to anyone and everyone!! If you listen like it I would strongly recommend listening to Grand Theft Autumn- Where is your boy! It is also amazing XD Hope it helped!!

This album is ABSOLUTELY SUPERB!!! I bought it after having heard a few other songs on friends#x27; computers and iPods and, since that time, have searched long and hard for any Fall Out Boy song left on the planet! The album, of which i write this review about, is just the music i love at the moment: funky, with the great sound and lyrics that make the band what it is today.....FANTASTIC!! You really have to go out and get this album because it literally is one of the best albums i have ever listened to in my life and that takes in a lot of albums!! As i was saying,(getting side-tracked by the greatness of the album!) this album marries a mix of genres such as punk/rock/pop(ish)/funky stuff with a catchy lyrical style and voice that will get you hooked on these guys within no time! Songs to look out for on this album are #x27;Sugar, We#x27;re Going Down#x27;, #x27;Dance, Dance#x27;, #x27;Champagne For My Real Friends, Real Pain For My Sham Friends#x27; and #x27;Sophomore Slump Or Comeback Of the Year#x27;. Although the song names themselves are long and quite random, the music summed up by them are masterpieces and i can#x27;t wait to go and see them live somewhere...brP.S. Shame there isn#x27;t a 10-star rating because this album is that and more!!!
