Contemporary choral music at its best May 8, 2009

This is a wonderful CD of brand new choral music - all of the tracks on here are world premiere recordings, 9 of them specially commissioned by the choir for the CD. What's nice is that the styles of the pieces included are all quite different, but it's all accessible - no "bomb in a pet shop" stuff here, you can really enjoy it! The choir is the excellent Vasari Singers, and on a couple of tracks they are accompanied by the organist Jeremy Filsell. Try something new, buy this disc.
