McFly are back and at their best! August 20, 2005 Sami Robinson (Devon, UK) 20 out of 22 found this review helpful
The long awaited return of McFly is finally here, yes they're back with a new mature sound, but don't worry they haven't left their classic pop sound behind as tracks 'Ultraviolet' and 'I wanna hold you' prove. 'She falls asleep' is definetly the track that will get you crying, using only piano and orchestra it lets you concentrate on the serious lyrics about a girl who commits suicide. 'Too close for comfort' shows McFly's talent to see situations from different views as this track is about knowing something is happening in your girlfriends life, but she just won't tell you whats going on. This album is most definetly the album of 2005 and one you must have in your cd stack as 'Wonderland' will be another gold disc to add to the boys collection.
In wonderland August 22, 2005 MR ROY CONWAY 21 out of 24 found this review helpful
Wonderland is the second album from the UK's biggest boyband McFLY! It features their red nose day hit, "All about you" and the boys number one hit "I'll be ok!"brThe songs are just as catchy as those from the last album, room on the third floor, but the guys have matured and so has their sound! With Too close for comfort being my personal favourite this album is definitely a must have!
A McFlyin' Comeback! October 2, 2005 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
After a poppy dancing around 1st album based on girls, girls, girls and a room on a 3rd floor, McFly make their 2nd album entrance with more of an sophisticated grown up sound and base it on a girl committing suicide, a man going through a mid life crisis and many other strange yet wonderfully written songs.brSome people may think they have grown up too much with the topics they choose for their songs, but as they have said in previous interviews it is based on true life with some exaggeration. How much better can you get in writing a song based on true life yet with dramatic bits put in to it???brThe songs are making more sense and this time round there is not one song about a green vegetable!
i really highly recommed this CD May 27, 2006 So Good 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
