I remember watching the BBC concert a few months back when it was broadcast and immediately wanted to watch it again once it had finished. Now I have my wish much to my and i#x27;m sure many Blunt fans#x27; delight.pTechnically, this should be the one of the top selling albums of the year! I can#x27;t see how anyone who has purchased Back to Bedlam would not want to buy this brilliant CD/DVD release. It presents James Blunt at his best - live.pThis release supports the case yet further of the growing musical talent of James Blunt. All I can say is that if you liked Back to Bedlam, buy this!!

5 out of 5 stars Back to Bedlam indeed   February 11, 2006

2004: Recorded some songsbr2005: The biggest album of the yearbr2006: Five Brit Award nominationsbrBack to Bedlam indeed.pOne of those rare artists who can sound better live, his acoustic form comes over really well on this album. Fresh from seeing James open his European tour at the Glasgow SECC last night, I can safely say that he#x27;s a real British gem. Incredible album complemented perfectly by this live album featuring a double disc. Disc one is a DVD of BBC sessions and a collection of all of his videos and making-of documetaries. Disc two is a collection of tracks recorded live in concert in Ireland. Highlights include Cry, Tears and Rain, High and Goodbye My Lover. There are a few unreleased tracks here as well and it#x27;s good to hear him sing new material.pHis story is unbelievable, Back to Bedlam charted poorly upon its initial October 2004 release but through word of mouth by easter 2005 it was speedily climbing the charts, becoming the album of the summer and of 2005. You#x27;re Beautiful was so touching and so unlike anything ever to have gone before it, that it became the slow-burner anthem of the summer. The album, like it says in the sleeve, became the soundtrack to a very turbulent year for a lot of people, personally going through traumatic changes and re-adjustments themselves, they found they could identify with the whole album.

5 out of 5 stars a fine CD and DVD   June 26, 2006

Listening to James Blunt for the first time, I wasn't sure what to think of this artist. I've listened to many types of musicians during my time and I'll have to be honest it took me only two times to enjoy his music. When The Bedlam Sessions came out, it took no time for me to purchase this item. Watching the DVD of his performance shows how much passion and desire he has for his music. The complete package is great. You get a live recording of a show from Ireland and then a DVD from a show at the BBC. On top of that, several videos of his songs plus an interview. Living in the U.S., it was a great purchase because now I was able to see this great muscian at work. I look forward to his future work and and believe many others will to once this listen to this artist.

A Brilliant DVD. After the CD it blows your mind. Best thing ever to come on the POP scene since the Beatles.pJames sings with feeling and Knowledge. You feel you have been through all he his singing about and been through himself.brSeeing him perform brought a tear to my eye. I bet to many others too. James has more than what it takes, as long as he can follow up and am sure he can.brBest Wishes James and I hope great success.

CD and DVD together prove excellent value for money when most CD's cost this much alone! The music is fantastic, I always prefer live recordings as there is much more feeling to the music, as opposed to the highly polished studio versions.
