4 out of 5 stars Another good album from the head of the diplomats!   May 15, 2006

Killa Cam returns with the follow up to 'Purple Haze'. Fans of the last album or any dip-set albums for that matter won't be disapponited with 'Killa Season'. br / br /Like any offering from the diplomats it is not perfect. Tho very much in the dip-set mould 'Leave You Alone' is just irritating, while the likes of 'Triple Up' 'I.B.S' do very little for the album. Nevertheless there is more than enough hits to make up for these misses. 'Wet Wipes', 'War', 'Get Em Daddy Remix', 'Suck It Or Not' 'Girls, Cash, Cars' could all be considered new dip-set anthems, while the slower 'He Tried To Play Me', 'Do Ya Thing Remix' 'Love My Life' are all good songs. The most controversial ( one of the best) songs is 'You Gotta Love It' - aimed at Jay-Z, the thumping beat is great Max B. sounds perfect on the hook. However, in my opinion the best song is the infectious 'White Girls' - very much dip-set sounding a likely 2nd single. br / br /Having being already established Juelz Santana Jim Jones don't have much of a role on cam's new album. Instead he uses the more relatviely unknown Hell Rell 40 Cal. Nor is there many guest appearances with Lil Wayne being the only artist to feature outside the diplomats camp. br / br /As always lyrically cam doesn't have much to say (the first single 'Suck It Or Not' being a testament to this) and although it is probably not as consistent as Juelz Santana's 'What The Game's Been Missing', nonetheless Killa Season is a very good offering from the head of the diplomats.
