The strong, foot tapping, body tingling beat that thunders out of Joan Jett's music is a phenomenon that does not date - it is ageless, completely resistant to short-lived trends and fads. Her music is the real rock 'n roll that will live in the memory and be revered long after most is forgotten.

br /Her work ranks alongside The Ramones (and to a slightly lesser extent Status Quo) as being at the forefront of music that excites and thrills the listener. It is an original sound and delivery that stands alone way above the others. It is truly unique.

br /Every number is outstanding but if put on the spot to pick a personal favourite would go for 'I Hate Myself For Loving You'.
