| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.co.uk Review The third studio album from McFly gets off to a rollicking start with a series of catchy, vibrant openers. First there's the enormously infectious "We Are The Young"; second the feel-good classic "Star Girl"; and third, the undeniably rockin' "Please Please". This titillating triumvirate is enough to reinstate the band's reputation - slightly damaged by 2005's lacklustre iWonderland/i - as fun-loving pop-punk provocateurs. The buoyant harmony-laden pop of "Sorry's Not Good Enough" and "Transylvania" are also catchy enough, but it's not long before this album, like the last, is undermined by songs like "Bubble Wrap", "Lonely", "Walk In The Sun" and "Little Joanna": cloying, clichéd songs with uninspiring lyrics and horribly cheesy sentiments. As the album wears on, a disturbing Queen/Bon Jovi influence also reveals itself, first on the finale, "Home Is Where The Heart Is" and much more overtly on their a cover of Freddie Mercury's "Don't Stop Me Now", a track no one really relished the first time around. When they're good, McFly are very, very good. But when they're bad#133; i--Danny McKenna/i

i love about half of the album, but the rest are like they are trying too hard and are too manufactured! i thought the last album was tons better.
Not as good as "Wonderland".... July 27, 2009 Michael (Tauranga, New Zealand) But even if it doesnt reach the 100% mark of their second album, it is still miles better than a lot of the other tat that's making the UK charts.

br /McFly are a band which
br /a) write their own songs
br /b) play their own instruments
br /c) have a HUGE, loyal fanbase
br /and release catchy songs that are instantly recognisable.
br /
br /This album does have one or two "dud" tracks, but that's ok. It balances it out well.
br /
br /
br /IF you are new to McFly, i'd say buy "Wonderland" along with their Greatest Hits DVD. That way you get the songs AND the brilliant videos for each track ;)
