Superb Sean Kingston - This Will Be Massive August 12, 2007 Christopher M. Adams (GREAT BRITAIN - UK) 5 out of 8 found this review helpful
Beautiful Girls (Stand By Me) will be released on Sept 3rd 2007, this is gonna be one BIG HIT! No 1 a cert! The Album meanwhile is excellent, all tunes are cool and very well produced, nice to hear a album without swear words, good clean and the kids will buy this one. I would recommend this Album, gonna be BIG.
Good pop album September 13, 2007 M. Kendrick (uk) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Sean Kingston blends rb, reggae and hip-hop.
br /The formula isn't new; it has been done before, most recently by Sean Paul.
br /However, this album does have a freshness about it which other reviewers here seem to have missed.
br /"Kingston" is an old school hip-hop anthem.
br /"Take you there" is also a slice of 90's hip-hop.
br /"Me Love" is a pop-reggae tune, not far from what is happening in Jamaica at the moment, but perhaps closer to Peter Andre's Mysterious Girl.
br /"Beautiful Girls" had to be a big hit due to its bassline lifted, almost in its entirety from the Ben E King classic Stand by Me.
br /"Dry Your Eyes" is sloppy RB album filler, and the rest of the tracks are nowhere near as good as the first six.
br /Nevertheless, a good debut and worth a listen.
br /I think you will find that this debut is much better than many of its contemporaries debut efforts.
Love this album October 28, 2009 Kirsty Exford (Swindon, UK) I think this album is fantistic! I love all of the tracks and would recommend it to anyone. There is plenty of variety, it's instantly likable and the lyrics are great.
very good album November 13, 2008 Sam (York, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I do not understand all the bad reviews about this album, this is a really good album, fresh, up-beat, good music, and some songs are very addictive to listen to. My favorite is Beautiful Girls, it is so strangely addictive, could not stop playing it over and over. It is not the best album I heard lately, but it is definitely not bad, and very enjoyable to listen to.
