| Customer Reviews: Ronnie and Keef rocking out. January 6, 2008 Martin Clark 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
When i first bought this cd/dvd i was not sure what to expect having heard poor reports on other Barbarian stuff, but i was not let down this is a must for any ronnie wood, keith Richards fans, the film footage goes from black and white to colour but does not detract from the content, this is Woody at his best some really great guitar playing, comlemented by the rest of the band,Keith is as cool as ever, and there is some great Bass playing from Willie Weeks.
br / buy it now
First Barabarians Live November 21, 2008 G. H. Pratt (Wild west) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is simply stunning. The CD ain't so great, but the DVD is amazing featuring Ronnie and Keith at full throttle, in off-the-cuff harmony vocally and musically. Arguably the best 'value for money' piece of Stones' memorabila of all time despite featuring none of the band's own material - besides Keith's explosive 'Monkey Man' intro to 'Shirley'. Get it NOW
The Best Barbarians July 23, 2009 Mr. R. P. J. Martin (Suffolk, UK) I was weary of buying this but am glad I did as the performance is solid. You have to overlook the limitations of the video and the occasional glitches and loss of colour (it's actually a clearer picture in BW).

br /Yes, the bootleg New Barbarians performances from 1979 are, to be generous, somewhat sloppy affairs. Don't let those later shows put you off. If you're a Ron Wood or Keith Richards fan, you'll like it.
